CATCHING UP ON HOME MAINTENANCE
Some much needed home maintenance has led to considerably more than I expected.... but isn't it usually the way... especially after 30 years or so. The studio revamp has come together well and decking it out has been fun... so much so that galloping over the budget to some extent seemed okay at the time.
Now the scaffolding is up and painting about to start our builder is replacing some of the boards which has led to a timely reminder to prioritise the spending. A couple of rotten joists as well as some framing needs replacing with one of the joists holding up the cantilevered area requiring additional support.
Craig is very pleased with his new area with insulation providing warmth and comfort and the revamp has
been a complete success thanks to ZJ Builders.
